Bill Harris, poet and playwright whose works have starred Abbey Lincoln and Denzel Washington and appear in such collections as The National Black Drama Anthology, New Plays for the Black Theater and African American Literature. Bill's work includes: The Ringmasters Array (Past Tents Press, 1997) and the following plays; What Goes Around, Stories About The Old Days, and Langston. His world premiere of CODA was staged in Detroit and Harris received the Paul Robeson Cultural Arts Award for outstanding cultural contributions to the state of Michigan. He was also a Rockefeller Writer-In-Residence recipient. He is currently the curator of living history at the Museum of African American History in Detroit.
