James La Croix was born in 1962 in Detroit, MI. Around the age of four, he wrote his first poem as his mother taught him to spell "together" (to get her). Not too long afterwards, he begain to write short stories. Professionally, he has written for publications as diverse as a recording industry technical journal, Music, Computers & Software and Detroit's alternative weekly, the Metrotimes. He is currently writing and playing guitar, bass and drums in local bands while working as a paramedic for the EMS division of the Detroit Fire Department. |
